This has to easily be the best Nicolas Cage movie I have seen. Cage is one of those actors who is cast in the role of action hero. However, this time he is cast as a treasure 'protector' not unlike Indiana Jones. He is smart and dedicated to his goal, the goal of finding the treasure of the ancients deemed too big for any one man.

Having found a series of clues Cage's character realises that the next clue must be on the reverse of the american declaration of independence. His colleague (Sean Bean) decides to steal it but they have a disagreement.

When the feds and security officials don't believe them, Cage is forced to steal it himself, in order to protect it using some truly ingenious techniques whilst Bean uses an alternative approach.

The action keeps on coming, and coming and coming. Never a dull moment. One to see.
