Blade is back and this time it's personal, but then for Blade the battle is always personal. Born as a half human, half vampire highbred since his mother was turned into a vampire as she gave birth to him, he has the strength and blood lust of a vampire, However, Blade walks in the daylight which gives him a destinct advantage over that of the vampires that he hunts.
In this third chapter Blade fights a new nemesis, the original vampire. He is the purest vampire since he was made perfect, and currently goes under the name of Drake, though in the past he had been refered to as Dracula.
Blade is joined by a new team of helpers, including 2 Guys and a Girl's Burg who brings much needed comedy relief in what would have otherwise been a very dark movie.
I found this film to actually be quite scary, though that could be because I realised what my worst fear would be. Vampire Dogs! Plenty of vampire slaying by Blade's new team, though some scenes go very close to the edge of being too far. The woman with the new born baby being attacked, the death of the blind woman and the attack on the kids. Though two of these came out well.
If you enjoyed Blade I and II you will probably enjoy this one too.
