Mr Incredible is a super strong hero who dedicated his life to saving those in need. He bounds around the city helping those in need but one day the ultimate enemy arises, the lawsuit. He gets sued by some of the people he tried to save and the government force all superheroes to assume their secret identities permanently.
Some years later, Mr Incredible is stuck in a boring office job, unable to even help the clients for fear of losing his job. His wife, another former super hero Elastigirl is worried about their family. Their son is in trouble at school, though they cannot prove it is him, and their daughter lacks confidence.
Soon Mr Incredible is inticed into some contract work for a scientist who's weapon has got out of control but stumbles accross a plot which forces him and his family out of retirement.
Disney and Pixar are certainly on a roll with their CG productions of late. This, the latest in a long run of computer generated greats by the studios, is cutting edge in terms of graphics as ever. Though the characters do not look like real life humans, their surroundings do. However, when have cartoon humans ever looked like 'real' humans? and why would they want to?
Some of the films funniest scenes involve Elastigirl who at one stage gets trapped between three automatic doors. Mr Incredible, gets his fair share of funnies though including the scene which will make anyone who has worked in an office jealous.
So what have we learnt? Don't wear capes and don't threaten to fire a super hero. A film worthy of it's title.
