Alien is one of those film franchises that just wont die and Predator, quite frankly, I hadn't even heard of until I heard of this film. It all starts of more or less normally on the earth. A satellite picks up a heat source under the ice in a remote part of Antarctica and its owner, an eccentric billionaire hires an elite team of scientists to check out the site.

When they arrive it comes as a surprise that a tunnel (leading to what turns out to be the prototype pyramid) has been dug at a perfect 45 degree angle and has just appeared in the ice within 24 hours. However this phases nobody, it just makes things easier.

Soon though, all the familiar calling cards of the Alien quadrilogy and predator movies pop up and there is a pitch battle between the aliens. The Humans, as the trailer rightly points out lose very quickly with only one survivor whom forms an aliance with the sole remaining Predator.

Some of the action was too fast to be caught rightly on camera especially one of the pitch battles between Alien and Predator. Some bizarre space ship shots that reminded me of Close Encounters but same old story at the end of the day.
