Pierce Brosnan is back as the shaken not stirred Bond in the franchise’s 20th outing and this time he’s abandoned by MI6 and tortured in a North Korean prisoner camp.

The film starts with Bond surfing in with a team of agents, he diverts a plane and takes the place of it’s passenger. He flies into an a secret base where they eventually figure him out but he all but demolishes the base and just about kills the leader when he gets caught by a general.

Madonna’s theme song is the worst thing about this movie but having said that it works in the introduction sequence which is even worked in as part of the story.

Halle Berry plays one of this film’s bond girls (Jinx) and brings back the classic bikini scene from an earlier Bond film.

The other Bond girl (Miranda Frost) is pictured to the left. Returning again as M is Judi Dench and taking over from Q who sadly died after the last film is John Cleese.

Bond gadgets include the ring that can blow up bullet proof glass and an invisible Austin Martin.

The only other bad point of the film is the films second surfing scene which looks very very computer generated and not even done that well. Still I would recommend seeing this film.
