This is unlikely to make the list of all time greats, I must admit, but it's a novel idea which may just pay off. Almost the entire story is set in the phone box, with a great deal of that time on the phone. The main guy, who's name escapes me, is a busy promoter who is married and thinking of having an affair. He picks up the phone and is told that if he doesn't co-operate he will be killed. Once an agitated pimp is shot dead by the sniper and the police arrive things start to get difficult, especially since they think he is the killer.
As is increasingly popular, the film is done in "real time" with the exception of a few sped up or slowed down scenes for effect, so we are with him every minute of the ordeal. Special effects are kept to the minimum and as such I would be surprised if it had a big budget. As a good film should, it keeps you guessing until the very end, but the constant swearing and annoying hookers kept the smiley rating down. Go see this if you've seen everything else.
