The genre of zombie movies is, and has been as long as I can remember been a full market. Shaun, is a boring practically middle aged guy, he spends almost every night at his local drinking and quite frankly his girlfriend is sick of it. She wants to go out, is that too much to ask for. As is typical, he choses the day zombies walk the earth to do it.

From the start, it is obvious that they are taking the mick out of zombie movies. People on the bus acting like zombies, youths listening to heavy metal walking in a zombified way. In fact, it takes quite a long time for Shaun to even notice, though we notice straight away when the people we see at the start of the film are dead, dying or eating the dead and dying.

If you saw "The Passion" and are up for some light hearted zombie killing (seriously light hearted) this is the film for you. My favoutite bits have to be the bits where they stop to have an argument whilst surrounded by flesh eating zombies. It's just comical, yet obvious, its not as if zombies are quick or anything. The are almost as laid back as us Students, if you think about it.

So if you like a laugh, some light hearted gore and a night out at the movies, this one is for you!
