When a young lawyer (Daniel "Harry Potter" Radcliffe) goes to a small town to do the books for an estate, he finds that all may not be as it seems and he is certainly not welcomed by the locals.
It's not long before he finds out why, as local children start to die under unusual circumstances. As he delves deeper he discovers that a ghostly woman in black may be behind it all.
This is a seriously creepy film and one that made us jump a lot in the cinema. A lot of the creepyness probably won't translate to the smaller screen.
Radcliffe, best know for his role as Harry Potter, shows that he isn't just another childhood actor riding on that success. He gives a good and interesting performance in his first adult role.
Although the film is certainly a scary one, it doesn't have a lot of either violence or bad language. However, if you're thinking that because this is a 12A that a young child should see it - I'd think again.
If you like scary films, this one is for you.
