Steve Carrell (Evan Almighty) is a bit of a character. The kind of guy that makes complex scenes using stuffed dead mice - the kind of guy you wouldn't normally invite to dinner. That is, unless you're boss has invited you to a special dinner where the challenge is to invite the oddest people they can find.
So that's exactly what the main guy's boss has asked him to do and despite the reservations of his girlfriend, he does. Of course, over the course of the film, Carrell bit by bit destroys his life - albeit accidentally of course with hilarious implications.
This is a really funny film. It's not too rude, though there are certainly moments which may be unsuitable for younger viewers. You'll love this if you love Carrell's other films, or films like The Hangover and Dude Where's My Car.
It may not be for everyone, but I specifically loved the detail in the stuffed mice dioramas - whilst they are certainly still creepy at the same time.
Definitely one I'd buy at some point.
