Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, lives Christopher Robin and his friends including his favourite, a stuffed bear called Winnie the Pooh.
In this latest adventure, something of a reboot following other movies like 'The Tigger Movie' and 'The Piglet Movie', Eeyore has lost his tail. So the gang get together to discuss finding a replacement with a reward of a pot of honey.
Soon though, the become side tracked because their beloved Christopher Robin is apparently abducted by the horrible Baksun, a creature who is responsible for everything that the gang can think of that goes wrong. So they decide to set a trap...
The best thing about this film is probably how they use the writing from the book in the animation (and indeed the storyline). It's quite interesting really, and the narrator was a good choice in John Cleese (Rat Race);
If you are a fan of A A Milne's classic characters, not unlike my wife, or you have young children then you will love this film. It is everything a film needs to be for a young audience and it is a lot of fun.
If you're looking for something different, then this probably isn't for you though.
