Lucy and Edmund have been sent to stay with their cousin, Eustace and his father. They are once again wishing they were in Narnia and missing their older siblings. Their cousin, who is a staunch believer in \\\"what you see is all you get\\\" science, becomes rather surprised when he finds himself drowning in a painting of a ship.
They are soon back in Narnia and rescued by a ship called the Dawn Treader, a ship on which Prince Caspian, or actually King Caspian is aboard. They stumble across a plot to destroy Narnia by an unseen fog which is taking sacrifices.
The only way to stop it is to gather the seven swords and lay them on Aslan\\'s table. The bigger issue is that on their voyage they are all being tempted by the things that they want the most.
For Lucy its envy at how beautiful she thinks her older sister is, for Edward is greed and power, for Caspian its the threat that Edward poses to his Kingdom.
The best new character is Eustace. He is a spoiled brat and one who really does take some convincing that this is all happening. Even despite the fact that it is all right there in front of him.
For me, this film has so much to teach us, even despite being a good fun film for kids. This is a really good film and one which makes a splendid addition to the Narnia series.
