As the legend goes, there are an ancient group of owls known as the Guardians who once fought an evil group of owls, known as the Pure Ones, and keep the peace.

Soren, a young barn owl believes in the legend with all his heart, his brother on the other hand is much more skeptical. After falling to the ground they find themselves snatched up by bigger owls who take them far away. They and a lot of other small owls are then told that they will have the privilidge of serving the Pure Ones.

Standing up for another little owlet, Soren ends up being taken away to be turned into a slave. His brother, on the other hand, is to be trained as a soldier.

Somehow Soren, and his little friend manage to escape in search of the Guardians - but will the Guardians prevail and do they even exist?

This a cute little story with some lovable characters and a strong Good vs Evil storyline. It's sure to become one of those cutesie little movies that the kids love. Apparently it's based on an Australian childrens book series and a sequel is expected.

This may not be everyone's cup of tea, and its probably not one I'll end up getting, but worth seeing especially if you have young children.
