The toys are back in town, but Andy is about to leave for university. Over the years since their second adventure most of the toys have been given away at yard sales - so with the prospect of being stored in the attic hanging over their heads they are saying their goodbyes.

That is until they are accidentally donated to a daycare centre. Initially optimistic about being played with they soon realise that they've been tricked into being with kids which are way too young for them. They need to escape, but there are more than a few obstacles in their way.

Meanwhile Woody tries to convince the toys that it was a mistake and that Andy does still love them.

Toy Story was one of the first full length computer generated films, so its easy to forget just how groundbreaking it was. Its sequel was one of the few Disney sequels that lived up to its predecessors, even bettering it in many ways.

So there was a lot to live up to for this third installment, but it certainly wasn't a for-the-sake-of-it sequel. The storyline was fun, entertaining and thought provoking.

This film certainly has lived up to the franchise and perhaps even enhanced it by introducing the characters to a new generation. A brilliant film and one I'd happily watch again and again.
