Alice is about to get engaged to a man, something she's not so sure about. Just after being proposed to she sees a white rabbit with a wrist watch. She races off to follow him and ends up tumbling into a rabbit hole.
She lands in a curious little room with a couple of doors that are too small to actually use. This all seems a little familiar especially when she finds a bottle with a drink me label.
Soon she finds herself shrunk small, then big again and starts to meet a whole host of strange creatures.
This is a strange sequel to a very odd disney classic. With Johnny Depp playing the Mad Hatter and that guy from Little Britain playing tweedle dee and tweedle dum and Tim Burton producing you can perhaps understand why that might be.
It's a fun film with some crazy special effects. In fact the only thing that probably lets it down is the storyline itself, which is a bit weak.
If you're up for a bit of querky fun, then this one is for you, but my guess is that you have to be in the right mood.
