I was almost put off this one because of one thing, well, one person ... a certain Hugh Grant but thankfully the rest of the cast made up for him completely and he wasnt that annoying himself. The film is made up of about eight interlocking stories, all on the theme of love. In some cases there is obviously going to be a happy conclusion and in others it can only lead to disaster. However, I don't want to spoil it for you.

It is a film which made me both laugh and cry, my mate told me that I would but I didn't believe them. There were, however a few scenes I had to look away, given that there were quite a few scenes of nudity, though thankfully none of them involved Grant. So many differing storylines merged into one film seems unlikely to work, but it really does. Anyone who doesn't like the American government may find themselves hating them more after this film. All in all, a film well worth seeing but tuck the kids up in bed first.
