While transporting a highly dangerous weapon to the UN, an elite US army squadron is all but wiped out. Were it not for the GI Joes, a secret army of super soldiers.
The surviving members of the team transporting the weapon are drafted into the GI Joes and very soon they are under attack by a shady enemy intent on causing chaos accross the world. Only the Joe's can stop them, but as is revealed, each of the Joe team has a history with their enemy, which makes this personal.
One thing I should point out about this film is that in terms of plot and, indeed, acting, this film is absolutely terrible. It seems to follow the same plot as Team America in places, where they accidentally blow up half of Paris without batting an eyelid.
However, the overall cheesiness of the film and the way it continually falls into the standard action film cliches, leaves only one reasonable conclusion - this film is doing it deliberately.
Maybe its the big kid in me or maybe I just love to laugh, but this film was so bad it was good. You have to see it, at least once.
