Johnny "Jack Sparrow" Depp stars as bank robber John Dilinger in this film based on the real life of this notorious criminal.

We meet Dilinger as he orchestrates the jailbreak of his associates, before going on a "robin hood" style bank robbery. Well, not quite Robin Hood, but he only steals from the banks and not the customers themselves. Of course, he falls for a girl and despite the authorities' best agents efforts still evades capture.

But one by one his friends and accomplices get captured or killed, leaving him desperate and alone.

I'm gonna give this film some slack since it is based on a true story and thus there's little you can do about some things. However, for a film about a bank robber, its rather slow paced and this is disappointing. All the characters played their parts well including Batman, but the fact is that the story itself was slow and dull. So this isn't one I'd recommend, I'm afraid.
