A few years ago Sam Witwicki baught his first car and really connected with it in a way that he's never imagined he would. Of course, the fact that it could transform into a giant alien robot did make him a bit nervous, as did the fact that he was being chased by other giant robots who seemed to be rather concerned with his eBay account.

After foiling the evil decepticons plan to bring all the machines on Earth to life and getting the attention of girl of his dreams (Megan Fox). After a couple of years he's ready to go to university. The autobots are working with a covert team to defend the world from the remaining decepticons but all is not well.

Unfortunately an evil decepticon known as "The Fallen" is looking for ways to resurrect Megatron and to create a new army of robots, oh and he has to destroy the Sun to do so.

This is an action packed movie with some truly awesome effects, though sometimes there's a little bit too much going on. There are some cool new autobots, but the best new character is probably the recon droid who didn't realise that he had a choice. It's really funny at times and definitely worth watching.

My favourite scene is the one where the kitchen appliances come to life. One I'll be getting on DVD
