I can't say too much without giving away the storyline so right away I'm going to warn you that this review will probably contain spoilers.

Hayden Christensen (Jumper,Revenge of the Sith) is a rich enterpreneur that owns about half of Manhattan. His wealth was inherited from his father who died when he was young.

He has been diagnosed with a heart condition that requires him to have a heart transplant. He wants his good friend, a down to earth surgeon, to carry out the procedure and today is his luckey day.

Meanwhile he has been secretly engaged to the love of his life (the Beautiful Jessica Alba - Fantastic Four) but doesn't want to tell his Mum, who is rather protective of him. Convinced by some advice by his best friend he seizes the day and they are wed that evening.

At the start of the film, a shocking statistic (which may or may not be true) is displayed on the screen telling how often anaesthetic is ineffective at making the patient unconcious. In this case, it isn't and during his surgery he learns that all is not as it appeared.

This was a good film. It was hard to determine just how they were going to get out of it and how they were going to drag the film out for so long with him being unconcious. It was also initially unclear as to why there was so much before the surgery itself but this became obvious quite soon.

I can't tell you much more without spoiling it, but I enjoyed the film and its twists. I still find it hard to accept Mr Skywalker in a non-Star Wars role but he pulled it off somehow. Not one I'd buy, unless it was on Sale, but worth a watch none the less.
