Dan is a widower with three teenage girls. He writes a highly popular newspaper column about parenting, but he finds it much easier to preach than he does practice.

After upsetting all three of his daughters, he goes to a cabin where he is staying with his family. When he takes some time out, he meets a woman with whom he immediately clicks only to find out that she is his brother's new girlfriend.

What I like about this film is that it isn't OTT and it isn't too cliched. My guess is that this is the point. It shows how a skeptic and even a professional advice giver can be turned around 180 degrees when they fall in love - and do some stupid and crazy things.

It wasn't a masterpiece, I doubt that it will win than many awards or change the world, but it was a good, solid movie that I was glad to have seen.
