Mitchell and Webb, best known for That Mitchell and Webb Look or Peep Show venture out into their first movie (to my knowledge) as Magicians Harry and Karl.

After finding his wife in 'bed' with Karl, Harry accidentally chops her head off onstage during the second half of their show. Suffice to say that ends their career, partnership and friendship.

They both struggle to find work, being even fired from their jobs as supermarket sales person for making it too real - thrusting a knife into his arm...

Seeing a chance to make some money and get their career going they agree to work together so long as neither mentions the nasty incident. Despite being given a free pass, neither can work together which means hiring new assistants at the last minute.

I could go on but there is no sense in giving away the whole story. I was happily surprised by the film since many Brit Coms are disappointing (they can't all be Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz). Mitchell and Webb kept it relatively clean and the storyline was fresh and interesting. A big thumbs up for this
