Jack Black, the star of such classic films as Shallow Hal and School of Rock is back as a monk with dreams of being a pro wrestler. The monestary is desperately poor and the orphans are being fed what appear to be wood shavings.
One day he decides to give pro wresting a go, and despite how terrible he and his partner are they still get paid. Still, he is eager to win.
This film feels watered down, and it almost feels as if Jack Black's usual comedy stylings have been simply censored by the directors.
This isn't a bad kids movie but lacks any real depth or character development. There are better kids movies but it's not a bad try.
