What can I say? It was interesting at times and crossed the bar of good taste at others. It was funny at times but just awkward at other times.
Confetti is a mock-u-mentary about a magazine competition for the most unique wedding. It is shortlisted to three lucky couples, one who are obsessed with tennis, the second which is to be a musical theme and the third which is naturist.
The panel soon regret having chosen them as finalists, realising that the naturists will want to be nude at their wedding but they would never be able to print such photos. The tennis couple become obsessed with winning but start to think its fixed in favour of the musical wedding. It doesn't help that the bride for the musical is tone deaf.
What I expected was for the film to do what Austin Powers did with their nude scenes - a series of well placed objects hiding certain bodyparts, after all the thought of nudity in a film often gives the desired laughs. This film didn't bother and just showed them naked, and as such I spent whole scenes studying my rather wonderful trainers.
So this film is certainly not for the easily embarassed or anyone under 15, or in my opinion 18. Otherwise the storyline was relatively weak and jokes were few and far between. What can I say this just wasn't my cup of tea.
