Claudia Schiffer stars in this high octane thriller. Well, I'm not sure whether I'd call it a thriller to be honest, it does have its moments and it isn't boring, but the phrase thriller promises so much more.
Sylvia Broom overhears a plot to assassinate somebody at the UN head quarters in New York after hours. She works as an interpreter and just so happened to hear them talking, or did she.
The police aren't so sure she's innocent, after all what are the chances that the conspirators would choose to meet in a room full of recording equipment and in a language that only she happens to speak?
The plot in this movie is, at times, hard to follow. Not everything makes all that much sense. Some of this is because of details you learn later on but some is just plain confusing.
If you enjoy your action movies then, you may find this one a bit slow paced. If you like your intelligent movies, then this one may leave you wanting. Basically it falls into the gap between genres but does neither all that well.
It isn't a bad movie, don't let me give you that impression, but it isn't anything all that special. If you do get the chance and your in the mood for a political action drama then this one's for you.
