Cindy Campbell has had a rocky few years. Originally the victim of a Scream style slasher, then thrust into a rather haunted house (though I never saw that episode), before finding herself in the centre of an alien invasion. But lowe and behold, her nightmare is not over yet when she finds herself in the middle of a war between some worlds and in another haunted house.

In part 3, Leslie Nielsen (star of The Naked Gun) series entered as the president of the United States in response to the alien invasion which turned out to be a response to a video they'd watched concerning a girl in a well and some ring. Charlie Sheen, star of the Hot Shots series also entered in number 3 as a man who was seeing signs. He has little more than a cameo in this one though, depressed for no apparent reason.

A relatively unknown actor takes the other lead, playing a single father looking after his two kids, when a lightning storm erupts knocking out all power with an EMP. If no 3 was based around "Signs" then this one was obviously a parody of "War of the Worlds". With some truly comic moments and your usual slapstick moments this film doesn't fail to disappoint. It does suffer from the usual parody syndrome in that the finale doesn't really make that much sense. It is obviously hard to knit so many films together into one without leaving a few seams exposed.

I would go out on a limb and rate this film as "Good" because it did have me laughing almost all the way through. Although there are clearly sexually innuendous scenes in the film, they are far less than the original or its (shudder) first sequel. Worth a peek if your in the mood for a laugh.
