Samuel L Jackson and Eugene Levy (The Dad in American Pie) star in this action comedy type film. Eugene is a dental supply manager and is the top of his field. Samuel L Jackson is a cop investigating gun theft from the police stores. His partner was corrupt and ended up dead. He is suspected of also being corrupt.
He contacts the dealers through his snitch and arranges to get a sample delivered to him in a diner. Unfortunately Eugene's character get mistaken for him and is he surprised to find a gun in the bag. Not as surprised as the diner staff who think he's trying to rob them.
The best thing about this movie is that you are nevcr quite sure whether Samuel L Jackson is corrupt or not, but it isn't nearly as funny as I'd hoped. It's style is similar to that of such films as "The whole 9 yards" but despite some interesting ideas, it failed to impress sufficiently.
It is worth giving a peek if there's nothing much else out but definitely not as great as some of Jackson's other works.
