George Clooney, Brad Pitt and a selection of other alleged “Hollywood hunks” star in this film, which was obviously targeted towards the ladies.
The story is of Danny Ocean (Clooney) who recruits a group of ex-criminals to pull of the hoist of the decade against 3 Las Vegas casino’s owned by his ex-wife’s (Julia Roberts) fiancé. An elaborate plan unfolds and a few necessary set backs just to keep it interesting.
The band of criminals scope the place thoroughly and plan it down to the last detail. I’d like to tell you more but that really is all that there is to it and if I do tell you anymore it’ll spoil the film.
Although it is a good film, it is blatantly obvious that the film was designed to draw in the female audience than to portray action film. The action was more of a way to show the world’s biggest actors together. Julia was added merely as a token measure as she does not actually get that much of a role.
Despite the simple storyline and obviousness of the film’s purpose it does make a viewable movie and I’d recommend it. But if you see just one film, go and see "Monsters. Inc"
