Following the successes of “Toy Story”, “Toy Story 2”, “Shrek” and “Monsters Inc” the completely computer generated boffins have come up with another brilliant treat. The story is of a Mammoth, a Sabre toothed tiger and a Sloth who find a human baby and feel obliged to return the baby to it’s “herd”.

The unlikely trio trudge through an ice covered landscape, finding adventure wherever they go. Diago (the Tiger) sneakily leads them to an ambush in the mountains where the Mammoth and baby will become lunch for a pack of Sabre toothed tigers. Will Diago go through with his dastardly plan or will the baby be reunited with its family?

A fun filled family film with some unlikely references to science fiction of modern day and the hapless squirrel ancestor who just can’t get a lucky break that I found very amusing. All in all a good laugh.
