Based upon the hit computer games of the same name, this film bucks the trend of other computer game spin offs and is actually watchable. The film is based in a fictional underground office environment where, unknown to it’s own employees, genetic and viral research is being undertaken.

When a vial containing a lethal pathogen is spilt it becomes airborne and quickly circulates the building via the ventilation system. The computer system seals off the base and decides that the only realistic course of action is to terminate all staff. So she does, they are drowned, gassed and even beheaded in the lift shaft. A rescue team is sent down to find out what happened and also to turn off the computer they believe has gone insane. It is only when they are confronted with the zombies of the former employees that they realise the computer was perhaps right to do it.

Unfortunately they don’t feel like being eaten by the zombies, chopped up by the computer's laser defence systems or attacked by some genetically modified monsters today and would rather try to get out, but when some of their own crew turn how can they escape?

A well made film, with some truly disturbing twists and effects that leave you in pieces. Definitely not one for the squeamish.
