Kim Bassinger (My Stepmother is an alien) and Chris Evans (not the Ginger guy) star in this action movie. The premise is simple: When Bassinger is kidknapped she tries to phone for help, but when the only phone she has is in pieces by her feet it does make things harder. By pressing the wires in what remains of the phone together she manages to get a signal.

As luck would have it the message gets through to Evan's cellphone and despite suspecting its a hoax he decides to let her talk. Soon, he's racing round the city in order to prevent first her son, then her husband being kidknapped.

This wasn't a bad film, by any stretch of the imagination, yet it didn't strike me as being gripping in the slightest. Some scenes are amusing, others cheesy and others just plain silly. If you're after some light hearted action then give this a peek, if not there's plenty better out there.
