The latest in what now seems to be a long line of animated films aimed both at children and adults. Halle Berry, Robin Williams and Ewan McGregor are the latest big stars to lend their voices.

In a world where everything is robotic, a young bot seeks to become an inventor but on his first trip to the city he is turned away. The deputy boss has his own ambitions and to boost sales wants to stop making replacement parts. This would mean that poorer robots could not afford repairs. Can they stop such a plan before the older robots literally fall apart? Worth a watch but not quite as good as other films in its genre.
