In the first shot of Bruce Willis in this action movie, he is looking old sporting a beard dominated with grey and white hairs. Sure, that's purposeful but it's shocking for anyone who remembers him from the 'Die Hard' classics.

The opening credits are long and annoying, that much I remember vividly. Willis is a negotiator for hostages, but when a case goes awry he blames himself. He moves to a small town, despite the objection of his family, only to get involved in a complicated double hostage situation.

There are two sets of baddies and two sets of hostages. The first hostage situation follows a failed attempt by some kids to steal a car, which results in the killing of a policewoman. Unfortunately, one of their prisoners is the accountant for a criminal organisation. When the can't get the information required they take Willis' family hostage unless he can get it for them. So Willis has to chose between the hostages and his own family ... but how can he choose?

It's a very confusing film with some twists reminiscent of Die Hard 2. The young kid was probably the best thing in this movie, crawling around in the crawlspace, like a young John MacClane.

However, the complicated storyline was confusing and the main hostage taker (the main guy from Final Destination) was well creepy. If you like Bruce Willis action movies then this will be your thing.
