Oceanīs Eleven was a high budget remake of the Las Vegas robbery movie. The movie was not high budget because of the sopecial effects nor because of the location but due to the number of highly paid actors and actresses that were employed.
The returning cast of Ocean's Eleven included such big hollywood names as Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Bernie Mac and Julia Roberts to name just a few. In this sequel they are joined by Catherine Zeta Jones and a short cameo by Bruce Willis.
It's three years after the first movie and Benedict (the guy they robbed) has found them thanks to an anonymous tip. He is demanding that they pay him back with interest within 2 weeks or he will kill them.
Having spent a large amount of the cash, they are a few million in debt to him and need a way to generate it but when another master thief beats them to the job they are seriously in trouble. Especially when Rusty(Pitt)'s ex girlfriend (Zeta-Jones), a detective, turns up to make things even more interesting.
Unfortunately I was slightly disappointed by the film and especially let down by its twists. Can't really tell you any more than that without spoiling the plot, not that it would really matter since most of the audience will be interested in at least one of the big names on screen. Possibly one of the better performances by Zeta Jones that I've seen, by the way.
